Mava 15 Elite Here We Come!!!!

Congrats to my baby girl Rachel!   She made the number 1, 15 Elite Travel Volleyball team last week.  We are so excited to be back with her teammates from last year.  They had a great season.  They won 9 Gold Medals, came in 3rd in the AAU and 5th at Nationals.  They are a great group of girls.  We look forward to the new season!

Nov3mber 16, 2010

Happy Birthday Mya!!!  It is hard to believe you are 4 months old today.  Your mommy took you to the doctor for your check-up and you weighed 11 pounds and 1 oz. and was 23 inches long.  You are getting so big.  You like to sit up all the time now and watch everybody.  You are trying baby food and so far you love sweet potatoes.  I can't wait to see your face at Christmas.  You will love to see all the pretty lights.  Next week is Thanksgiving and we have so much to be thankful for.  I thank God everyday for all my blessings.  I hope everyone has safe travels next week when they head over the river and through the woods to Grandmothers house.

Marvelous Monday!

Great fall weather today!  I love it!!!  I got to spend the day with my favorite little princess MYA!  She is so much fun.  She learns something new everyday.  I am so grateful to be able to spend so much time with her.  She can always make me smile.  Rachel was out of school today, she has kept me busy as well.  We had a great family dinner on Saturday with Ashley, Chris, Nathan, Jacob, Carly, Michelle, Mya and Rachel.  I wish we could do this more often.  We just don't get to see Ashley and the kids often enough.  I am so thankful that Michelle and Mya live so close to us.  Rachel only has three high school volleyball games left for this season.  She has had a wonderful season and she has played really well.  She is getting excited about Club season starting in a few weeks.  I am getting excited too.  I really miss it.  We have so many great friends at Mava and last year we had a blast and Rachel's team was so much fun to watch.  I hope everyone has a good week!

Enjoying the great weather today. Trying to catch-up on some household chores. I really need a housekeeper. I don't know how three people can make so much dirty laundry. I got to see my wonderful little Princess last night. Michelle and Mya spent the night last night and I slept in the nursery with Mya some Michelle could get a good nights sleep. She really is a good baby. She went to bed at midnight and she slept until 6 am. She always wakes up smiling. She is such a joy to have. I am ready for the fall weather to begin. TGIF!!!

Wow! I did not realize how long it has been since I last blogged. I have been very busy at work. Rachel is on the Freshman Varsity Volleyball team and that keeps me very busy as well. My favorite past time is spending as much time as possible with my new granddaughter Mya. I hope to post some pictures this weekend of her. She is almost 6 weeks old and so much fun. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with her. Michelle went back to work this week and I help out watching her when I need to. I wish I could just retire and watch her full time. We would have so much fun. I am so looking forward to some fall weather, it has been way too hot, way too long. I am going to be off for 5 day in a row, so I hope to get some new pictures upload here. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Long time No Post!!!

Wow, I did not realize how long it had been since my last post. A lot has happen since then. We had an 8th grade graduation, a baby shower and a 14 day volleyball trip and vacation. Everyone is doing good. We had lots of fun on our trip. Rachel's volleyball team did really well. They won another metal. It has been a great season, we are sad for it to end. Next week Rachel has tryouts for her High School team. I can't believe my baby is getting ready to start High School. She is so excited. A couple more weeks and our sweet baby Mya will be here, I can hardly wait to kiss her all over. Michelle and Mya are both doing great. Ashley and her kids went on a little trip with Bob's brother and his family to watch a couple of baseball games. I hope they had a good time. Hopefully I will be updating this blog soon with some pictures of my new Baby Mya!
Take care!

Happy Monday!!!

The Mazzoni Family household is soooooo busy right now. Birthdays, Graduations, Baby Showers, AAU's in Orlando, Nationals in Reno, Nevada and Vacation all in the next 6 weeks. This week is Rachel's last week of grade school. I can't believe it, it seems like yesterday she was 2 years old and starting the mother's day out program at church. She is growing into quiet the young lady. She is so excited about high school. Her volleyball team is awesome. They have won the last 6 tournaments in a row. They have been playing in the 16 year old age division and they are just 13 and 14 years old. Good Job Girls!! Baby Mya will be here in about 9-10 weeks. We are getting so anxious for her to get here. I just hope and pray that she does not decided to come early while I am on vacation or at AAU's or Nationals with Rachel. Be a good girl little Mya until Nanna gets back home. Happy Monday everyone!

MAVA 14 Elite is AWESOME!!!!

Rachel's volleyball team won their 2nd National Qualifier in two weeks. They won the Big South National Qualifier this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. They are so much fun to watch. They are playing so well together. I am so excited that 7 of the 10 girls will be playing together at Mercy Academy High School in the fall. They should have a very good freshman team. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I love this weather. I just love being outside. It has been hard on everyone's allergies. Everything is going well with Ashley and her babies. Michelle is getting bigger everyday with Miss Mya. Michelle is busy getting Miss Mya's room ready. It is a jungle theme. It is so cute. I will post some pictures from this past weekend in Atlanta in the next couple of days. We had a great time.

Happy Wednesday

Happy Monday!!!

We had a great trip to St. Louis. Rachels volleyball team won the MEQ Qualifier in St. Louis. Now they get to go to Reno, Neveda in June for the Junior Olympics. We are so proud. They played so well. Our other big news is its a GIRL!!!!!!!! Michelle's ultrasound was last Thursday, and we found out it is a little girl. We are so excited! We love little girls. Michelle is still on cloud nine. Michelle and Jeremy have decided on Mya Adrianna for her name. Bob and I tried to talk her into Mya Isabella, so we could call her Bella, but she wants anna in her name. All of Michelle's Grandmothers and Michelle's middle name have ann or anna in it, so thats why she wants to use Adrianna. She is going to be the little princess to her Nanna! I can't wait to see her.

Where is the Sunshine????

It is March 16, and where is the Sunshine. I am so ready for the Sunshine to come out. We are headed on a family road trip this week to St. Louis for a volleyball tournament. We are excited, we have never been to St. Louis and Michelle is going with us. Thursday, hopefully our new little one will cooperate and we will be able to find out if it is a boy or girl. Michelle is about to go nuts with anticipation. She wants to know so bad, it reminds me of me when I was pregnant with her many moons ago. I so wanted to know, but I knew in my heart that it was a girl. I so wanted a little girl and I feel so very lucky and fortunate that many years later now I have 4 daughters and 1 granddaughter. I also have two wonderful little grandsons who I adore. I just want this new little one to be healthy. It is hard to believe that my baby girl, Rachel only has about 7 weeks of school left before High School. We went to the high school registration last week and signed her up for all her classes. Mercy Academy is going to be a great school for her, she is so excited. Every time we go to the school, we come home with Mercy Apparel, sweatpants, t-shirts and sweatshirts. I pray for a safe trip to St. Louis. Take Care!

MARCH is finally HERE!

For a month that only had 28 days, February went on forever. 3 big snow storms in one month is too much. I hope Spring is just around the corner. I had a rough week last week, but made it through it. This week has been much better. We continue to stay busy with school and volleyball. Rachel's team is doing really well. I am very proud of them. We might get to find out what our new little bundle we are expecting in July is going to be this week. Keep your fingers crossed that the little one wil cooperate. Michelle so wants a little girl, I know she will be just as happy with a little boy though. I just want a healthy baby. Carly is doing ok, she is having a lot of trouble with her formula. They have tried a number of different formulas and none of them seem to help with her gas, diarrhea, constipation and fussiness. I hope to get out to see them all this weekend and get some pictures of Carly. Have a good week!

It has been a long crazy week. I have worked a lot this week. We had several snow days from school this week. Rachel's volleyball team had a great weekend in Dayton last week. They won the Gold Division of the President's Cup. Good Job Mava 14-Elite. Rachel and I are off for another volleyball trip today. We are off to Indianapolis for the Central Zone Championship this weekend. Bob has too work, so he will be home with Lexie girl! Michelle and little one are doing fine. She had an episode with a very bad migraine headache this week, but hopefully this is just a one time episode. Ashley and little Carly Brooke are doing fine. I still need to upload some pictures of Carly. I am so ready for Spring. I heard the temperature is going to be in the 40's this weekend, I am so excited. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. I only have one more week of crazy hours. Then life will be back to almost NORMAL.

I have been working wayyyyyy too many hours. I have two more weeks scheduled working everyday, and then I am cutting back to my normal two or three days a week. My house needs me, my husband needs me and my girls need me. I need time to go love on my new granddaughter and hug my two little grandsons. I also need time to get ready for my new little grandbaby coming in July. We are traveling to Dayton, Ohio this weekend for a volleyball tournament. I hope the snow holds off until we get back Sunday night. I am very tired of the snow. It is so beautiful and peaceful in the beginning and then the mess begins! I am so ready for spring. I want to get outside to take my walks and I love SUNSHINE! I hope everybody has a safe weekend!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Our weekend was very busy. Rachel played volleyball all weekend and we went to a SuperBowel Party. Monday has been a slow day so far. I still have not loaded any pictures of Ms. Carly yet. She is doing well, growing like a weed. I can't wait to see her again soon. I wish we lived a little closer to them. I don't get to see them as much as I would like. A little snow storm came through on Friday night, we are expecting another snow storm tonight and tomorrow. I hope it all comes and melts soon, we have to go north for a volleyball tournament this coming weekend. I really don't want to travel very far in a snow storm. I am so ready for Spring!!

Ready for Spring!

I am so ready for spring. It has been so cold the past few weeks. We have had our little bit of snow and now I am ready to move on. I know this probably will not happen soon, but I can always dream of the beach. We are patiently awaiting the arrival of Carly Brooke. Her room is ready, her mom is ready, her brothers are ready and her nanna is ready. We must wait for Carly to be ready. I can't wait to see her sweet face in person. Rachel started her volleyball season last week with a bang. Her team is made up of girls that are 13 years of age. They played in a tournament last week for 16 year olds and they came in second place. They are so much fun to watch. They have so much talent, it is going to be a great year. This weekend she will play on Saturday in a local tournament and we will travel to Indianapolis on Saturday night for a tournament there all day Sunday. You gotta love it, which we do. Volleyball is one of our passions in our house. Please keep my aunt in your prayers. I know I have talked about her before on my blog. She is 48 years old, mother of 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter. She had a lung transplant 1 year ago. She has been dependant on a ventilator to breath ever since. My uncle has tried his best to take care of her at home, but she continues to struggle. She is probably going to need to go to a nursing home that specializes in ventilator patients. This is going to be very hard for her. Keep her in your prayers. Please keep both my daughters that are expecting little ones in your prayers that they will have safe deliveries with healthy babies.
Thank you God for my MANY BLESSINGS!
